Trishna: Trishna was the Indian version of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, which aired on Doordarshan in 1985. The show starred Tarun Dhanrajgir and Sangeeta Handa in lead roles.

Qadir Ali Baig was a legend among the theatre stalwarts of Hyderabad. His untimely death created a vacuum and it was fitting that a theatre foundation on his name was launched.
